Princess Madeleine´s Wedding

As many of you know, Princess Madeleine of Sweden will get married on the 8th June with Mr Christopher O´Neill. The Royal Court released some information about the wedding weekend.

The celebrations will begin on the 7th June, friday, with a dinner for invited guests (probably similar to the one held when Crown Princess Victoria got married). The dinner will be held in the Grand Hôtel in Stockholm, having the King Carl Gustaf XVI and Queen Silvia as hosts.

The 8th June will be the big day. The wedding will take place at 16:00 in the Royal Chapel (the same place of Princess Estelle´s christening).After the wedding, the bride and groom will be taken by horse and carriage from the Royal Palace of Stockholm to Riddarholmen. From Evert Taubes Terrass, the bride and groom and their invited guests will travel by boat to Drottningholm Palace for dinner.
